The Last Stand 2 Game Review
The Last Stand 2 is sort of like Left 4 Dead. By that, I mean it has zombies, guns, explosives and blood. Sound cool? It is. You play as a survivor of a zombie infection and you’ve holed up inside of a single spot in one of a handful of cities.
The action element to Last Stand 2 is you standing behind your defensive wall and pelting zombies with machine gun ammo, chainsaw blades and general pistol fire. In between levels your character must search the given city for supplies, weapons and survivors. The more survivors you get, the more help you’ll have downing the zombies.
The more weapons you get, the more firepower you and your clan have to use. The more supplies you get determines how many days you can travel to the next city. Oh, and you can also set awesome little traps like exploding gas tanks. There’s some slowdown when zombies fill the screen, but that’s about the only respite you’ll have from the constant onslaught of undead minions.
The Last Stand 2 is a perfect game for an action nut. It’s fast, bloody and you can kill zombie-infested dogs. What more do you want from a Sunday afternoon sitting in front of your computer?
